Turkey sweet potato paleo burger!
500g lean Turkey mince (makes aprox 6-8 burgers)
1 small red onion finely diced
1 carrot shredded
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1 tsp onion powder
1 clove of garlic minced
Sea salt and pepper
Put all of the above into a bowl in get your hands in and mix this all together, if you have a blender then you could maybe use this to save time (call it fast pale food).
Once blended, take handful and pat down into burger shaped patties.
Grill – these take around 12-15 mins to grill depending on the size.
Sweet Potato ‘Bun’
Slice your sweet potato to approx. 1/2 inch thick.
Place all ‘Buns” on a tray and put in the oven for 15 minutes on 200 degrees (or you can blast them in the microwave for speed, approx. 3 minutes).
Then take the Buns and grill this either side like your toasting a bun!
